Santa Monica

Santa Monica

It’s been a while, since I posted here.

Anyways, unlike in the beginning, I’m starting to love life in the States. Been too a couple of places here and there, and it feels good to travel around. It’s actually amazing how many masterpieces of nature you can visit in the U.S..

I most recently made a trip to the beach in Santa Monica and it was  AWESOME. It’s possibly the greatest beach that i’ve ever been. Weather wasn’t that fantastic, but that was only a minor downside.

You can literally feel the nature.

As said, you can widely feel the nature. You can hear the sound of ocean, waves and feel the wind blowing… It’s hard to say enough that a feeling is like taking you home.

A well, In my best shot, I took at the beach. Do you see the house on the right? Man, I’d love to live there. Unfortunately, I got short time to stay, so this is pretty much of it!

See you next time!

City Beach Roaming

Samsung Digital Imaging has provided the author of this article with the mentioned digital imaging device.

Just as I thought that summer was coming to a close, the weather, in typical Sydney fashion, turned on a run of perfect days. So I just had to head out to the Eastern suburb beaches to enjoy the occasion.

Here is the Bronte rock pool looking particularly inviting. I believe the rock pools scattered around Sydney’s beaches have got to be some of the most pleasant pools around the world.

For lunch we went for some fish and chips and a beer at Watson’s bay. Always a pleasure, and always a very well observed meal by the local feathered rats, waiting to pounce on any chip that looks like it might be grabable. Many times I have seen chips taken from the fingers and lips of unsuspecting diners.

I’ve visited the Bournemouth beach in a long time. I live in UK and Bournemouth is like a second home to me. I have friends who are just like a family and there are memories we’ve shared together, and a beautiful sea with endless beach. On an exceptionally clear day, I decide to just walk along the beach.

The weather is still cold but there’s no way the surfers will miss out on a lovely day like this. Surfers are leisurely enjoying the afternoon moving freely, entrusting themselves to the wind and the waves.

A family flying a kite. Father holds the kite and reads the direction of the wind and when he shouts one, two, three the daughter quickly releases the string and launches the kite into the sky. They were laughing endlessly and thanks to the family, I was able to smile as well.

After leaving Bournemouth before returning to Hull, I stopped by London. Spring was definitely in the air after Easter in London as well, so I decided to walk along the Thames River enjoying the warm spring weather and the cool river breeze.

When I was walking along the river, an eye-catching sight made me stop. Who appear to be father and son were carving the Homer Simpson couple on the sand. This father and son with a perfect teamwork have been working for 6 hours since the morning. There were no signs of fatigue and even when a lot of people gathered to watch them, they kept on working. Truly a wonderful father and son couple that matches with the beautiful weather!

Styles Never Get Wet – WP10(AQ100) -part 1-

Samsung Digital Imaging has provided the author of this review with the mentioned digital imaging device.

01_Stylish Waterproof

I’m expecting Samsung’s cameras the most in 2010. With this expectation, Samsung WP10 has been released. It has stylish and elegant color and design. It also has waterproof function with great camera performances. With the WP10(AQ100), style will never get wet.

clip_image002

clip_image003

Samsung’s First Waterproof camera

Now is the Rain Scene

It’s so impressive as the first waterproof camera. It’s not a touch camera, but as a cute waterproof camera, it has user friendly and great performance. It allows up to 3m waterproof and dustproof. It also supports Smart Auto(16 modes), Perfect Portrait System, 1280×720p 30fps H.264 format HD move recording, and 35-175mm optical 5x zoom lens. The beginning – It’s another evolution of Samsung compact digital cameras.

Smart and Easy

Small, Simple with great performance

The WP10(AQ100) has not only waterproof function, but also Smart Auto for still images and videos, Smart Album, Smart Filter, and Perfect Portrait system. It’s a waterproof camera for summer, but it’s not just a waterproof camera. It has all functions as a multi playing camera.

clip_image005

Compact Camera for all

Anytime, anywhere, anyone

When it comes to a waterproof camera, people think of a lot of things. If it has only a waterproof function, it’s not that useful in its camera functions, but it’s different in the WP10(AQ100). Even though it has no shock protection function, it has 3m waterproof and dustproof function with 12M pixels sensor and optical 5x zoom lens which is similar to other compact cameras.

It might become a heroin of Samsung digital cameras in 2010. 2.7” TFT LCD takes more vivid and dynamic moment and stylish life. It also has Aqua mode as an optimized mode in water.

By pushing the mode button, Beauty shot can be selected in Scene mode. It can adjust skin brightness and correction level, and the corrected pictures can be saved in the camera. After setting the level, in Recognition mode, smile shot or self guide mode can be used. When the face is not recognized well, a message pops up and gives information.

If the correction is too strong, pictures might be a little awkward, so I think level 1 of brightness and level 2 of skin correction are appropriate.

Self Portrait

When taking self shots, it’s not easy to confirm the position of my face. Let’s use Self Portrait function at that time. When the face is recognized in the screen, it makes beep sound in order to locate the face on the right position.
